Cherokee Regional Medical Center selects Melissa Cunningham as CNO

Cherokee (Iowa) Regional Medical Center appointed Melissa Cunningham, RN, new vice president of clinical services and CNO.

Ms. Cunningham, who assumed the role July 15, was most recently director of the Abben Cancer Center on the campus of the Spencer (Iowa) Hospital. She also has experience in home health, hospice and public health.

Before earning her nursing degree, she was a social worker in Luverne, Minn..

Ms. Cunningham is a member of the Iowa Organization of Nurse Leaders and the American Organization of Nurse Executives.
