Charles Schulz, CEO of York General, retires: 3 notes

York (Neb.) General CEO Charles Schulz is retiring, according to a York News-Times report.

Here are three notes:

1. Mr. Schulz assumed the role of CEO in 1995.

2. His previous roles include CEO of Northern Hills General Hospital in Deadwood, S.D., and CEO of Heart of America Medical Center in Rugby, N.D.

3. During his tenure at York General, Mr. Schulz led new building and renovation projects totaling more than $50 million, among other achievements.

“Above all, I consider the culture at York General to be the greatest accomplishment of our organization,” said Mr. Schulz, according to the York News-Times. “The staff here takes a great deal of ownership and pride in what they do. I am extremely proud to be part of that culture and to have had the opportunity to work here.”
