Mr. Dean, who has been with the 23-hospital system in his role since July 2020, will remain with Sutter Health until July to assist with the transition.
Flo Di Benedetto, senior vice president and general counsel, is also leaving Sutter Health later this year, according to the filing. She has been with the system since January 2009.
The changes come shortly after former UPMC executive Mark Sevco was named senior vice president and COO at Sutter Health.
