CEO of Tennessee’s LifePoint Hospitals Will Also Serve As Chairman

Bill Carpenter, president and CEO of Brentwood, Tenn.-based LifePoint Hospitals, will also become the system’s chairman, according to a Nashville Business Journal report.

Bob Shell Jr., who had been chairman, will become lead director of the board of directors.

LifePoint operates 52 hospitals in 17 states.
