Central Maine Healthcare selects president for 2 hospitals: 4 things to know

Lewiston-based Central Maine Healthcare appointed Peter J. Wright president of Bridgton (Maine) Hospital and Rumford (Maine) Hospital, effective in mid-March.

Here are four things to know:

1. Mr. Wright most recently served as president and CEO at Valley Regional Healthcare in Claremont, N.H.

2. He has prior experience as COO at Littleton (N.H.) Regional Hospital and senior director of planning, development and medical group operations at Copley Health Systems in Morrisville, Vt.

3. Mr. Wright is a fellow of the American College of Healthcare Executives.

4. He holds a master of science in administration degree from Colchester, Vt.-based St. Michael’s College and a master of healthcare delivery science degree from the Tuck School of Business/Geisel School of Medicine at Dartmouth College in Hanover, N.H.
