Central Maine Healthcare hires Dr. Jason Krupp as chief physician executive: 4 things to know

Lewiston-based Central Maine Healthcare selected Jason Krupp, MD, to serve as chief physician executive, beginning August 5.

Four things to know:

1. Dr. Krupp will oversee performance and clinical programs at the system and be responsible for leading efforts toward value-based care.

2. He most recently served as senior vice president for physician practice services at Community Health Systems in Franklin, Tenn.

3. Dr. Krupp has held numerous leadership positions in healthcare, including as CMO at hospitals in Arizona and Massachusetts.

4. He received his medical degree from Jefferson Medical College in Philadelphia.
