Elkader, Iowa-based Central Community Hospital appointed Brooke Kensinger CEO.

1. Ms. Kensinger previously served as senior director of business health solutions at Des Moines, Iowa-based Mercy Physicians Services.

2. She is replacing Fran Zichal, who is retiring on Dec. 31, 2016, according to a report by The Clayton County Register.

3. She holds a master’s degree in healthcare administration from the University of Iowa in Iowa City.
