Mr. Sodano has been a member of the CHS board of directors and chairman of its investment committee since April 2014. Until 2012, he served as chairman of the board of trustees of the CHS Eastern Region of New York, which includes Good Samaritan Hospital Medical Center in West Islip, St. Charles Hospital in Port Jefferson and St. Catherine of Siena Medical Center in Smithtown.
Currently, Mr. Sodano is vice chairman and a member of the board of directors of Gabelli Securities, chairman and CEO of Worldwide Capital Advisory Partners and senior advisor to the CEO at Burke & Quick Partners. He was formerly chairman and CEO of the American Stock Exchange and vice chairman of NASD, then parent of the Nasdaq Stock Market, where he previously served as COO and CFO.
Mr. Sodano succeeds Richard J. J. Sullivan, Jr., who held the position since 2002.
