Here are four things to know about Mr. Chwe.
1. He will oversee the accounting and finance departments’ operations, financial reporting, budget and planning processes and ensure that internal and external financial results are timely for the system, CHS said.
2. Mr. Chwe, a certified public accountant, joined CHS in 2010 as the director of financial reporting. He was promoted to assistant vice president of financial reporting in 2013.
3. He earned a bachelor’s degree for business administration in accounting from Adelphi University’s School of Business, based in Garden City, N.Y.
4. Mr. Chwe has also earned multiple KPMG Encore Awards for outstanding performance when he was as an audit manager on multiple health care and public companies.
