Here are four things to know about Mr. Carr.
1. He joined the system April 4.
2. In his new role, he will be responsible for “fostering a ministry-wide culture of innovation and investment,” Mercy Health said.
3. Prior to joining Mercy Health, Mr. Carr was the entrepreneur-in-residence at Cintrifuse, a regional initiative to support and promote the innovation community of Greater Cincinnati — startups, entrepreneurs and innovators. There, he supported the growth and strategic efforts of the organization.
4. He also previously was Cincinnati Bell’s senior vice president of strategy, development and planning and chief technology officer where he led the sale of Cincinnati Bell Wireless to Verizon. His other roles have included chief information security officer at GE Aviation, and senior executive at Accenture.
