CareSync names VP of interoperability: 5 things to know

Wesley Chapel, Fla.-based CareSync, a provider of software and services for chronic disease management, has named Gurpreet Singh vice president of interoperability.

Here are five things to know about Mr. Singh.

1. As vice president of interoperability, he will provide leadership around healthcare interoperability and work with CareSync to achieve interoperability between the complete CareSync record and disparate data sources.

2. Prior to joining CareSync, he was chief technology officer at San Diego-based MD Revolution, where he led product strategy, roadmap and development functions.

3. Mr. Singh previously founded Health-e-Link, a provider of cloud based EHR solution, to small and medium size practices across California, and co-founded OpsHub, a provider of Application Lifecycle Management integration and migration solutions for application development organizations. He also served as OpsHub's vice president of sales.

4. Additionally, Mr. Singh started Parrus Technologies and Parrus IT Solutions.

5. He earned a Bachelor of Technology in electrical and electronics engineering from Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University in Hyderabad, India, and was part of the graduate program in engineering science at University of Toledo (Ohio).
