Here are five things to know about Mr. Frank.
1. He has more than 20 years of information technology experience in health insurance and healthcare.
2. Most recently, he has served as executive director of information technology for Aetna/Coventry Health Care in Pittsburgh.
3. He also previously was a senior information technology leader at Beaver, Pa.-based Heritage Valley Health System, and the assistant director of information systems at East Liverpool (Ohio) City Hospital.
4. In his new role, he will “manage a team of professionals and ensure the technology needs of Capital BlueCross are met to the highest standard,” officials said. He will also partner with business areas to implement technology solutions.
5. Mr. Frank earned a master’s degree in organizational leadership and a bachelor’s degree in computer science, both from Geneva College in Beaver Falls, Pa.
