Cambridge (Mass.) Health Alliance has selected Steve Carter as senior vice president of IT and CIO.
Mr. Carter has worked with CHA since 2002, most recently serving as CHA's chief security information officer and senior director of data and development.
Prior to joining CHA, Mr. Carter was director of operations improvement for Newton, Mass.-based Harvard Vanguard Medical Associates. He also served in a number of management roles at New England Memorial Hospital in Stoneham, Mass., now called Boston Regional Medical Center.
