California system names chief medical officer

Thousand Oaks, Calif.-based Los Robles Health System named Glenn Goldis, MD, chief medical officer.

“We are pleased to welcome Dr. Goldis to Los Robles Health System,” Phil Buttell, CEO of Los Robles Health System, said in an Aug. 14 system news release shared with Becker’s. “His extensive knowledge and experience in quality care, graduate medical education, physician engagement and leadership will complement the extraordinary work, care and compassion that our team is known to provide.”

Dr. Goldis most recently served as CMO and chief medical information officer at Kern Medical Center in Bakersfield, Calif. since 2015. Prior to that, he held leadership roles at Optum.

Los Robles Health System is an affiliate of HCA Healthcare.
