Mr. Hobbs brings nearly three decades of healthcare administration experience to the position, according to a news release shared with Becker’s.
Most recently, he has been serving as Torrance Memorial’s president since February and became its CEO on Nov. 1.
Mr. Hobbs replaces Craig Leach, who retired as CEO on Oct. 31 after 17 years at the helm.
Before joining Torrance Memorial, Mr. Hobbs served as CEO of USC Verdugo Hills Hospital in Glendale, Calif.
