Mr. Smith has spent more than two decades leading and raising private support for mission-driven organizations in the U.S. and around the world. He served for more than 10 years as CEO for American Red Cross chapters in Texas and California. He then spent four years leading global corporate communications for the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies in Kuala Lumpur and Malaysia and then at its world headquarters in Geneva, Switzerland.
