BJC HealthCare’s new group president is Joan Magruder: 3 things to know

St. Louis-based BJC HealthCare appointed Joan Magruder group president, according to a St. Louis Post-Dispatch report.

Here are three things to know:

1. Ms. Magruder, currently president of BJC HealthCare’s St. Louis Children’s Hospital, will continue in that role while taking on new duties.

2. As BJC HealthCare group president, Ms. Magruder will oversee BJC Home Care and Community Services, including BJC Behavioral Health, BJC Corporate Health Services, BJC Home Care Services and BJC Hospice as well as The Rehabilitation Institute of St. Louis and BJC long-term care services.

3. She became St. Louis Children’s Hospital president in 2013, prior to which she was president of Missouri Baptist Medical Center in St. Louis.
