Mr. Kerndl currently serves as senior vice president and CFO of hospital operations for Brentwood, Tenn.-based LifePoint Health, which includes 72 hospitals in 22 states. He joined LifePoint in 2010, prior to which, he served in CFO and regional vice president roles for three Arizona-based hospitals, part of Nashville, Tenn.-based Vanguard Health Systems. He has also previously served as CFO for North Shore Medical Center in Miami.
Mr. Kerndl earned his master’s degree in healthcare administration at the University of Chicago.
In his new role, Mr. Kerndl will be responsible for all financial functions as well as the development and execution of financial policies and strategies for Beaumont Health.
