The September 2014 merger between the three systems created Beaumont Health, the largest system in Southeast Michigan, with eight hospitals, $3.8 billion in combined annual revenue and more than 35 percent inpatient market share.

Beaumont Health’s newly named senior vice presidents — including five Beaumont and four Oakwood executives — include:

Malcolm Henoch, MD, senior vice president of acute care and associate CMO. He was formerly with Oakwood.

Leslie Rocher, MD, senior vice president and chief academic and clinical officer. He was formerly with Beaumont.

Sam Flanders, MD, senior vice president and chief quality and safety officer. He was formerly with Beaumont.

Laura Glenn, senior vice president of Beaumont Health Physician Partners. She was formerly with Beaumont.

Paula Smith, senior vice president of operations and CIO. She was formerly with Oakwood.

Mike Langlois, senior vice president of supply chain. He was formerly with Beaumont.

Nick Vitale, senior vice president of financial operations. He was formerly with Beaumont.

According to the report, two councils formed in December will help continue integration of the three systems. A hospital and ambulatory council will identify and implement integration strategies for EHR adoption and supply chain initiatives, and a post-acute care and diversified business council will identify and implement strategies for the coordination of high quality patient care across different settings.
