Baptist Medical Center Attala selects interim CEO: 4 things to know

Baptist Medical Center Attala in Kosciusko, Miss., named Sean Johnson interim CEO, according to a report by The Star-Herald.

Here are four things to know:

1. Mr. Johnson is currently CEO of Baptist Medical Center Yazoo in Yazoo City, Miss.

2. He will continue in his role at the Yazoo City facility in addition to serving as interim CEO at Baptist Medical Center Attala, until a permanent leader is identified.

3. He holds a master’s degree in health administration from the University of Southern Mississippi in Hattiesburg.

4. Mr. Johnson replaces John Dawson, who was fired, according to a previous report by The Star-Herald. The reason for Mr. Dawson’s removal was not indicated.
