New Albany, Ind.-based Baptist Health Floyd has appointed Eric Loeliger, MD, as chief medical officer.
Dr. Loeliger joined the hospital earlier this month after spending 17 years at Medford, Ore.-based Asante, where he most recently served as senior vice president and chief clinical officer.
In his new role, he will focus on clinician engagement, quality improvement and community partnership efforts, according to an April 24 news release.
Baptist Health Floyd is a 268-bed hospital owned and operated by Louisville, Ky.-based Baptist Health.
