Brian Kellar, a multi-site CEO with Phoenix-based Banner Health, was named senior vice president and president of Wisconsin and Michigan markets at Wausau, Wis.-based Aspirus Health, a spokesperson confirmed to Becker’s.
Mr. Kellar will begin the role March 30, providing senior leadership oversight for hospitals across Aspirus’ Wisconsin and Michigan markets.
He joins Aspirus from Banner Health, where he most recently served as a multi-site CEO overseeing Banner Baywood Medical Center and Banner Heart Hospital in Mesa, Ariz., Banner Goldfield Medical Center in Apache Junction, Ariz., and Banner Ironwood Medical Center in Queen Creek, Ariz., according to his LinkedIn profile.
He previously held executive leadership roles with West Des Moines, Iowa-based UnityPoint Health, Aberdeen, S.D.-based Primrose Retirement Communities and Sioux Falls, S.D.-based Sanford Health.
Aspirus Health operates 18 hospitals and 130 outpatient locations across Wisconsin, Michigan and Minnesota and employs nearly 14,000 people.
