Athens Regional Health System makes interim CEO permanent

Athens (Ga.) Regional Health System has named its interim CEO, Charles Peck, MD, permanent CEO of the regional system and Athens (Ga.) Regional Medical Center, effective March 15.

Dr. Peck has been serving as interim CEO of Athens Regional Health System since September 2014.

Dr. Peck’s 30-year career includes experience as a clinician, CEO, entrepreneur, medical school faculty member, medical director and partner in the worldwide healthcare consulting company Navigant Consulting.
