Aspen Valley Hospital appoints Dave Ressler CEO: 4 things to know

Aspen (Colo.) Valley Hospital named Dave Ressler its new CEO, according to a Post Independent | Citizen Telegram report.

Here are four things to know:

1. Mr. Ressler previously served as CEO of Aspen Valley Hospital from 2004 to 2013.

2. He most recently served as CEO of Community Care Alliance in Grand Junction, Colo. Prior to that, he was the COO of Tucson (Ariz.) Medical Center.  

3. He replaces Dan Bonk, who announced his resignation in January. Mr. Bonk left to spend more time with his family, according to an Aspen Times report.

4. The hospital search committee did not find a suitable replacement until Mr. Ressler applied.
