Ascension Wisconsin CEO to step down

Daniel Jackson, CEO of the Ascension Wisconsin Ministry Market, will transition from his role on April 17.

Scott Cihak, COO of Ascension Wisconsin, will serve as interim CEO for the market until a successor is named, an Ascension spokesperson said in a March 26 statement shared with Becker’s.

Mr. Jackson was named ministry market executive for Ascension Wisconsin in August 2023. He first joined the organization as interim president and CEO of Ascension Columbia St. Mary’s Hospital-Milwaukee Campus. Before that, he was CEO of Detroit Medical Center’s Sinai-Grace Hospital.

“We are grateful for Daniel’s commitment and dedication to Ascension Wisconsin,” the spokesperson said. “During his tenure, Daniel has been instrumental in enhancing the health of communities in Wisconsin and advancing our ministry’s mission. We wish him continued blessings.”

Ascension Wisconsin operates 10 hospitals and eight urgent care centers. It is part of St. Louis-based Ascension.
