Six notes:
1. Mr. Beckmann previously served as senior vice president of Ascension and COO of Ascension Holdings.
2. Prior to that, he was president and CEO of Carondelet Health Network in Tucson, Ariz.
3. He also has experience serving as chief risk officer for Ascension Health.
4. Mr. Beckmann holds an MBA from the University of Tampa in Florida.
5. In his new role overseeing Ascension International, he will govern all international entities, including subsidiaries and joint ventures, such as Ascension Ramsay NuSoarceGlobal.
6. Mr. Beckmann succeeds John Doyle, who will continue serving as chair of Ascension Holdings International and its entities and executive vice president at Ascension until his retirement, effective July 1, after which he will participate in the Ascension Consulting Network.
