Jeremy Mercer was named vice president of joint ventures and chief integration officer of Ascension Saint Thomas in Nashville, Tenn., according to a Sept. 28 LinkedIn post.
Prior to his new role, Mr. Mercer served as vice president of public sector growth at Optum Health, according to his LinkedIn page.
He also served as vice president of government growth strategy and proposals for Optum Behavioral Health.
“I’m looking forward to helping strengthen partnerships, connect strategy to execution, and support the important work happening across Ascension Saint Thomas,” Mr. Mercer said in the post.
