Pensacola, Fla.-based Ascension Sacred Heart made four leadership appointments as part of a reorganization of its regional strategy.
Drew Stringfellow will serve as interim vice president of strategy, according to a Sept. 24 health system news release. He has been with Ascension Sacred Heart since 2022 and previously led regional strategy and business development.
Nikki Ireland joined Ascension Sacred Heart as vice president of oncology. She has more than 20 years of healthcare experience and previously served as oncology director at HCA Memorial Health University Medical Center in Savannah, Ga.
Kristen Sylvester has been appointed vice president of cardiology and cardiovascular service line. She joined Ascension Medical Group Sacred Heart in 2017 and most recently oversaw cardiology, cardiovascular surgery and other specialty physician practices across the Gulf Coast region.
Brad Nix, vice president of the neuroscience service line, expanded his leadership responsibilities to include orthopedics for Ascension Sacred Heart. He has more than 14 years of experience with St. Louis-based Ascension.
