Mr. Mills, a certified public accountant, has 14 years of finance, administration and public accounting experience. He spent 11 of those years working in healthcare. He joins Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital from Samaritan Medical Center in Watertown, N.Y., where he served as assistant vice president and CFO.
“As we continue to build our national finance team into a collaborative, trusted, strategic business partner on our journey to an integrated health system, Sean will provide strategic financial counsel and oversee financial operations for Lourdes, and be an important part of the Ascension Finance leadership team,” said Rhonda Anderson, senior vice president and CFO for Ascension Health.
Mr. Mills will begin his new position Aug. 15.
