Mr. Hoban will become president of the Ascension Michigan Foundation, through June 2020, when he will retire. The foundation is the umbrella organization for a number of hospital foundations, a spokesperson told Crain’s.
Since 2001, Mr. Hoban has worked within the St. Louis-based Ascension’s Michigan region, which includes 15 hospitals.
Kevin Grady, MD, currently CMO of Ascension St. John Hospital, will succeed Mr. Hoban Aug. 19. Dr. Grady is a pulmonary and critical care physician who has worked at the hospital for 33 years, according to the report.
