Conway (Ark.) Regional Health System named Angie Longing, BSN, RN, as president and CEO, effective July 20.
Ms. Longing most recently served as interim president of CHI St. Vincent Infirmary in Little Rock, Ark., and senior vice president and chief nurse executive for the Arkansas market across a four-hospital health system, according to a June 29 hospital news release.
She previously served as chief nursing officer of Conway Regional Health System from 2016 to 2022. In her new role, she will lead the health system’s strategic growth, operational performance, quality outcomes, workforce engagement and long-term financial sustainability.
Ms. Longing will succeed CEO Matt Troup, who accepted an out-of-state market president role, effective July 17.
Conway Regional is centered on a 180-bed acute care medical center and operates eleven primary care clinics, seventeen specialty clinics, a rehabilitation hospital and a health and fitness center.
