Matt Troup will depart as president and CEO of Conway (Ark.) Regional Health System to accept an out-of-state market president role, effective July 17.
Mr. Troup has served as president and CEO since August 2015, according to a May 28 hospital news release shared with Becker’s. During his tenure, Conway Regional expanded its specialty services, outpatient clinics, physician recruitment efforts, strategic partnerships, facility investments and regional operations.
The organization also completed significant capital investments, expanded its regional footprint and strengthened provider alignment under Mr. Troup’s leadership, the release said.
“This decision was difficult because of the relationships my family and I have developed through the more than eleven years in the state and the close connection to Conway Regional and its progression as a health system,” Mr. Troup said in the release. “I am deeply thankful for the trust, support, and relationships built during my time at Conway Regional. This opportunity represents an exciting new challenge to engage, align, and lead a team, and I look forward to supporting continued personal and professional growth.”
Conway Regional is centered on a 180-bed acute care medical center and operates eleven primary care clinics, seventeen specialty clinics, a rehabilitation hospital and a health and fitness center.
