Cheryl Chisholm has been appointed chief people officer of Brentwood, Tenn.-based Ardent Health.
Ms. Chisholm brings more than 20 years of human resources leadership experience to the role, according to a May 4 health system news release.
She joined Ardent in September 2025 as vice president of HR strategy and most recently served as interim chief human resources officer.
Before joining Ardent, Ms. Chisholm spent more than a decade at Phoenix-based Banner Health and served as chief human resources officer of Phoenix-based Atlas Healthcare Partners, according to the release.
Ardent Health operates 30 acute care hospitals and more than 280 sites of care across six states.
