Tim Moran to Resign as President From California’s Methodist Hospital of Sacramento

Tim Moran will resign as president of Methodist Hospital of Sacramento (Calif.) and service area president of its parent company, San Francisco-based Catholic Healthcare West, on April 15, according to a Sacramento Business Journal report.

His resignation comes as a surprise, according to the report. Mr. Moran did not disclose his reason for resigning.

Denny Powell, president of CHW’s Mercy General Hospital, in Sacramento, will temporarily oversee Methodist.
