Ashley Carlucci, DNP, RN, will join Pittsburgh-based Allegheny Health Network as chief nurse executive, effective April 13.

She currently serves as market chief nursing officer for Cleveland-based University Hospitals, where she leads nursing strategy and operations across seven regional hospitals.

Dr. Carlucci has held that role for nearly six years, overseeing hospital integrations and leadership development initiatives that improved engagement, quality and operational performance, according to a March 4 news release.

At AHN, she will oversee 6,000 nurses across 14 hospitals and its network of clinics.

At the Becker's 11th Annual IT + Revenue Cycle Conference: The Future of AI & Digital Health, taking place September 14–17 in Chicago, healthcare executives and digital leaders from across the country will come together to explore how AI, interoperability, cybersecurity, and revenue cycle innovation are transforming care delivery, strengthening financial performance, and driving the next era of digital health.
