Albany (N.Y.) Medical Center hired Matt Jones as senior vice president and general counsel.
Here are three points:
1. Mr. Jones most recently served as a partner at the Philadelphia-based law firm Duane Morris LLP, where he focused on healthcare and corporate law.
2. He has served as outside general counsel to numerous health systems and physician groups, including Boston-based Harvard Medical Faculty Physicians and Westwood, Mass.-based Beth Israel Deaconess Care Organization.
3. He earned his law degree at from the James E. Beasley School of Law at Temple University in Philadelphia.
