Akram Boutros, MD. President and CEO of the MetroHealth System (Cleveland). Dr. Boutros is a board-certified internist who has more than 20 years of healthcare leadership experience. He was named president and CEO of the MetroHealth System in 2013 after serving as executive vice president and chief administrative officer of St. Francis Hospital – The Heart Center in Roslyn, N.Y., and executive vice president, CMO and COO of South Nassau Hospital in Oceanside, N.Y. He sits on the boards of the Greater Cleveland Partnership, United Way of Greater Cleveland, the Cuyahoga Community College Foundation and the Cleveland Ballet. Dr. Boutros, who was named to Crain’s Cleveland Business’ “Power 150” in 2014 and Inside Business Magazine’s “Power 100” in 2015, was also the EY 2015 Entrepreneur of the Year for Community Impact in Northeast Ohio.
