Advocate Trinity Hospital welcomes new leader: 4 things to know

Terika Richardson has been appointed president of Advocate Trinity Hospital in Chicago, The Chicago Defender reports.

Here are four things to know about Ms. Richardson.

1. She began her new role June 20.

2. Prior to joining Advocate, Ms. Richardsonwas CEO of Retreat Doctors’ Hospital in Richmond, Va., since May 2014.

3. Accomplishments during her tenure at Retreat Doctors’ Hospital include growing outpatient surgery by 48 percent within two years and implementing a robotic surgery program to drive inpatient volume growth, according to the report.

4. Ms. Richardson earned a master’s degree in public health and a bachelor’s degree in biopsychology and cognitive science from the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor.
