Mr. Clark has served in the position on an interim basis since August following the resignation of CFO Anthony DeFurio, who left the position for opportunities outside the organization.

Mr. Clark takes on the position on a permanent basis Dec. 1, according to a Nov. 21 news release. He previously served as senior vice president and treasurer.

He joins the health system’s executive leadership team and will oversee revenue cycle management, financial planning, supply chain management, financial reporting, accounting, treasury and managed health resources.

Advocate Health formed in December through the merger of Advocate Aurora Health — dually headquartered in Milwaukee and Downers Grove, Ill. — and Charlotte-based Atrium Health.

At the Becker's 11th Annual IT + Revenue Cycle Conference: The Future of AI & Digital Health, taking place September 14–17 in Chicago, healthcare executives and digital leaders from across the country will come together to explore how AI, interoperability, cybersecurity, and revenue cycle innovation are transforming care delivery, strengthening financial performance, and driving the next era of digital health.
