Nashville, Tenn.-based Monroe Carell Jr. Children’s Hospital at Vanderbilt named Nicole Sibol its first vice president and chief pediatric enterprise strategy officer, a newly created role focused on growth and programming.

Ms. Sibol joins Vanderbilt from Charlotte, N.C.-based Advocate Health, where she serves as enterprise vice president of strategy and business development, according to an Oct. 8 news release. She will begin her new role Nov. 1.

In the new position, Ms. Sibol will help shape the children’s hospital’s long-term vision for growth and programming as a member of its executive leadership team. She will also work with Vanderbilt Health’s business development team under David Posch, senior vice president for business consulting, to keep the children’s enterprise aligned with the broader system.

Ms. Sibol has more than a decade of experience in strategic planning, business development, analytics and organizational transformation. At Advocate Health, she led planning, strategy and growth work across clinical service lines. She previously held senior leadership roles at Chicago-based Rush University System for Health and Chicago-based Presence Health, where she oversaw large-scale growth and transformation initiatives.

“Nicole brings a unique combination of strategic expertise and operational insight that will be invaluable as we define the future of pediatric healthcare at Monroe Carell,” Monroe Carell President Jamie Phillips said in the release.
