Adventist Health Tillamook taps chief medical officer

Adventist Health Tillamook (Ore.) named Paul Welch, MD, chief medical officer.

In his new role, Dr. Welch will create and maintain connections with providers and staff to create practices centered on guiding, supporting and encouraging excellence in healthcare, according to a June 2 hospital press release.

Previously, Dr. Welch served as ambulatory medical director, a role he currently continues; medical adviser of obstetrics; and president of the medical executive committee.
