AdventHealth names 2 hospital CEOs

Altamonte Springs, Fla.-based AdventHealth named two new hospital CEOs in its Central Florida Division.

Doug Harcombe will lead the planned AdventHealth hospital at Lake Nona in Orlando, Fla., according to a May 28 news release from the health system. Mr. Harcombe currently serves as CEO of the AdventHealth Celebration (Fla.) and the health system’s South market. He will continue to lead the South market in addition to his new role at Lake Nona, and Amanda Maggard will replace him as CEO of the Celebration facility. 

Ms. Maggard currently serves as president and CEO of AdventHealth Zephyrhills (Fla.) as well as AdventHealth Dade City (Fla.); she helped lead the acquisition of that hospital in 2018. In addition, she served in an executive leadership role at the systems long-term acute care facility in Connerton, Fla., earlier this year. 

The new appointments take effect June 4.
