The health system detailed its plans for the new 250,000 square-foot hospital and a 50,000 square-foot medical office in Orlando’s Lake Nona community in March. The project will reportedly cost $75 million. Construction on the facility is set to begin this summer. The region, according to the company, is “one of the fastest-growing health and life sciences communities in the nation.”

Mr. Harcombe has been serving as the CEO of AdventHealth’s Celebration, Fla., facility since 2018.  Amanda Maggard will now replace him in that role as he transitions.

Ms. Maggard will transition to lead the Celebration facility out of her role as president and CEO of AdventHealth Zephyrhills and AdventHealth Dade City.

Both CEOs will assume their new roles June 4.
