Here are four things to know:
1. Mr. Hall has held the CEO position at Adeptus since 2012.
2. He will stay on as CEO and chairman of the board through mid-2017.
3. During Mr. Hall’s tenure, Adeptus Health “transformed from a private company with 12 facilities just four years ago into the premier operator of freestanding emergency rooms in the United States. Today, we are operating 97 facilities,” said Richard Covert, vice chairman of Adeptus’ board in a statement.
4. Adeptus Health is planning to open 13 new facilities by the end of the year and cement more partnerships with health systems across the country.
