Here are five things to know about Mr. Berkson.
1. As a senior vice president, he will help healthcare providers manage evolving payment models.
2. Specifically, Mr. Berkson will work with the team to leverage Accretive Health’s technology, managed services and operating platform to help current and prospective clients navigate through value-based contracts. Mr. Berkson and his team will develop applications, analytics and support services.
3. Mr. Berkson previously held senior roles at Lumeris, an accountable care solutions company, and helped build the provider business at Health Dialog, a population health management company.
4. He also previously was a senior manager at Pfizer Health Solutions, where he helped implement a chronic care management program into hospital-based settings throughout Florida, according to Accretive Health.
5. Mr. Berkson’s past experience also includes serving as a senior consultant at The Lewin Group.
