The following 15 executive moves were announced within the last week.

1. Crystal Haynes stepped down as CEO of Saint Louis University Hospital in St. Louis. COO Dawn Anuszkiewicz was appointed to interim administrator, effective Dec. 22.

2. Bill Carpenter, president and CEO of Brentwood, Tenn.-based LifePoint Hospitals, will also become the system’s chairman.

3. Sparks Regional Medical Center in Fort Smith, Ark., named Darrell Hardy as CFO.

4. Roseville, Calif.-based Adventist Health named Scott Reiner as executive vice president and COO, effective May 2011.

5. York, Penn.-based WellSpan Health named Kevin Mosser, MD, as executive vice president and COO.

6. Medical City Dallas Hospital named Keith Zimmerman senior vice president and chief development officer of Medical City and its children’s hospital, effective Jan. 10.

7. Brattleboro (Vt.) Memorial Hospital named Steven R. Gordon president and CEO, effective in March.

8. West Chester (Ohio) Hospital named Tom Daskalakis, FACHE, as vice president and COO. He will join the hospital in early January.

9. Morgantown, W. Va.-based Monongalia Health System named Darryl Duncan president and CEO, effective Feb. 1.

10. Akron (Ohio) General Medical Center rehired Alan Papa and named him president, effective Jan. 31.

11. Oakland, Calif.-based Kaiser Permanente promoted Bernard Tyson, executive vice president, to president and COO. His position is effective immediately.

12. Adventist Health in Roseville, Calif., named John Beaman vice president of finance. He is relocating to Roseville at the end of the year and orienting into his new role.

13. Ohio State University Medical Center in Columbus named C. Michael Rutherford as CFO, effective Jan. 4.

14. Ripon (Wisc.) Medical Center named Joan Karsten interim CEO, effective Jan. 1.

15. Steve Hannah has been named COO for Gordon Hospital in Calhoun, Ga. Mr. Hannah will begin his duties in mid-January.
