9 latest hospital, health system CEO moves

The following hospital and health system CEO moves were reported by Becker's Hospital Review in the last week. They are listed below, beginning with the most recent.

1. Andrew Goldfrach was named CEO of University Hospitals Avon (Ohio) Rehabilitation Hospital.

2. HCA Gulf Coast Division — a division of Nashville, Tenn.-based Hospital Corporation of America — named Tripp Montalbo CEO of Mainland Medical Center in Texas City, Texas.

3. Omaha-based Nebraska Medicine named Daniel J. DeBehnke, MD, CEO.

4. New CEOs were chosen to lead hospitals under the umbrella of LifePoint Health and Duke LifePoint, both based in Brentwood, Tenn. Brian Springate, BSN, RN,was named CEO of Fleming County Hospital in Flemingsburg, Ky. Mike Herman was named CEO of Riverview Regional Medical Center in Carthage, Tenn., and Trousdale Medical Center in Hartsville, Tenn. Rod Harkleroad, BSN, RN, was named CEO at Haywood Regional Medical Center.

5. Ohio-based Midwest Health Collaborative named Daniel Kueter CEO, effective May 23.  

6. Memphis, Tenn.-based Baptist Memorial Health Care named Brian Welton CEO and administrator of the $25 million hospital it plans to build in Crittenden County, Ark.

7. Coney Island Hospital in Brooklyn, N.Y., part of NYC Health + Hospitals, named Anthony Rajkumar CEO.

8. Monty E. Knittel, president and CEO of Walla Walla (Wash.) General Hospital, is leaving his post to become president and CEO of Feather River Hospital in Paradise, Calif.

9. Aspirus Grand View Hospital in Ironwood, Mich., named Paula Chermside CEO.
