Midwest Health Collaborative names CEO: 3 things to know

Ohio-based Midwest Health Collaborative has named Daniel Kueter CEO, effective May 23.

Here are three things to know about Mr. Kueter.

1. As CEO, he will lead the development of patient-centered health solutions for Ohio employers and strengthen the collaboration across MHC's six founding member organizations, MHC said. MHC, formed last year, includes the following systems:

  • Aultman Hospital (Canton)
  • Cleveland Clinic
  • OhioHealth (Columbus)
  • Premier Health (Dayton)
  • ProMedica (Toledo)
  • TriHealth (Cincinnati)

2. Prior to joining MHC, Mr. Kueter was president and CEO of the University of Iowa Health Alliance, a multi-system clinically integrated network based in Des Moines.

3. He earned a bachelor's degree from the United States Military Academy, West Point (N.Y.), and a master's degree in business administration degree from Harvard Business School, based in Boston.
