7 latest hospital, health system CEO moves

Becker’s Hospital Review reported the following hospital and health system CEO moves in the last week.

The moves are listed below, in alphabetical order.

1. Wilson N. Jones Regional Medical Center in Sherman, Texas, named Glenn T. Carney CEO.

2. Valley Regional Hospital in Claremont, N.H., appointed Deanna Howard interim president and CEO, effective Feb. 18.

3. Corsicana, Texas-based Navarro Regional Hospital named Curt Junkins CEO, effective Feb. 25.

4. Medford, Ore.-based Asante, a three-hospital system, named Scott Kelly president and CEO.

5. Buffalo, Wyo.-based Johnson County Healthcare Center named Sean McCallister CEO.

6. Jon Pryor, MD, announced his decision Feb. 5 to retire from his position as CEO of Minneapolis-based Hennepin Healthcare.

7. Clifton-Fine Hospital in Star Lake, N.Y., appointed Dierdra D. Sorrell, MSN, RN, its permanent CEO, effective Feb. 1.
