6 latest hospital, health system CEO moves

Becker's Hospital Review reported the following hospital and health system CEO moves in the last week.

1. Emmetsburg, Iowa-based Palo Alto County Health System appointed Brent Antczak administrator and CEO, effective Jan. 2, 2018.

2. J. Anthony Rose, president and CEO of Catawba Valley Medical Center in Hickory, N.C., is retiring at the end of December.

3. Aventura (Fla.) Hospital and Medical Center, part of Ft. Lauderdale, Fla.-based HCA East Florida, appointed Lee B. Chaykin CEO.

4. Tomball (Texas) Regional Medical Center, part of Houston-based HCA Gulf Coast Division, tapped Eric Evans to serve as CEO, effective immediately.

5. Ely (Minn.) Bloomenson Community Hospital appointed Michael Coyle CEO.

6. Pomeroy, Wash.-based Garfield County Public Hospital District selected Michael Rooney, MD, to serve as interim CEO and superintendent.
